The 2025 edition of the annual forum of the Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change will take place on 19-20 May in Wrocław, Poland. RESIST – as a project within the Mission – will actively participate in the event and will be represented on the agenda in ‘Panel 3: Innovation is key’, which focuses on learning from the achievements and adaptation solutions of regions in Mission projects. Three representatives of RESIST partners (ERRIN, Zemgale Planning Region and the City of Turku) will participate in the session as panellists.
The Annual Forum is a key governance event of the Mission, bringing together national, regional and local authorities, European institutions, Charter signatories and friends of the Mission. It serves as a platform for in-depth discussions, enabling participants to assess achievements, address challenges and shape the future direction of the Mission.
This year’s Forum will focus on real-world actions and experiences, showcasing practical and inspiring adaptation measures implemented by regions, cities and local authorities across Europe. Participants will explore innovative resilience strategies, discover new tools and solutions developed through Mission projects, and engage in meaningful dialogue, networking and collaboration to advance climate adaptation.
The 2025 Mission Forum is co-organised by the European Commission and the Polish Presidency of the European Union.
If you are interested in participating, please register by 11 April. Both face-to-face and online participation options are available. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail as soon as possible.
