EU Regions Week: RESIST Session

The RESIST Project will host a workshop as part of the 2025 edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities, within the official programme. The session “Collaboration and scaling innovative climate adaptation solutions for resilient territories” (code number 15WS252479) will delve into the concrete efforts of the RESIST project to bolster climate resilience across 12 EU regions. The session will take place in Brussels on Wednesday, 15 October from 15:30 to 16:30 CET at the EU Regions Week venue at Square Brussels, 311-312. Don’t miss and join us in Brussels. The session delves into the concrete RESIST project’s efforts to bolster climate resilience across 12 EU regions. We will draw attention to the knowledge exchange and transfer of innovative climate adaptation solutions from the 4 leading Regions to the 8 Twinning Regions, giving an overview of the broad spectrum of RESIST innovations, applicable for territories with distinct profiles and challenges, deep-diving into some of them, such as real-time multi-hazard early warning systems and nature-based solutions. We highlight how our collaborative efforts address specific climate challenges and contribute to broader local, national and EU goals of CCA, sustainable prosperity and competitiveness.
