The RESIST project will host a session during the 2024 edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities. The session will take place on Tuesday 8 October at the Albert Borschette Conference Centre, AB-3A. The workshop is based on the results of the project in the twin transition context. RESIST strengthens the resilience, accelerates the transition and increases the adaptive capacity of 12 climate-vulnerable EU regions, implements 4 large-scale demonstrators of resilient innovations for climate change adaptation with quintuple-helix partnerships and promotes the transfer of know-how and innovative solutions to 8 twin regions through physical mutual learning activities.

The EU Regions Week session will highlight the work being done in the project’s four demonstrator regions: Southwest Finland, Central Denmark, Catalonia and Central Portugal. Speakers representing each of the regions will share their insights and experiences in building climate resilient communities.
