Climate Views in Norway’s Arctic | RESIST
A survey conducted in 2023 found that just over half of Vesterålen’s population believed that climate change was mainly caused by human activity. This was lower than the national average in Norway and came as a surprise to local authorities. In this second (out of three) chapters from Vesterålen, we hear from locals in the town of Sortland, to get their views on climate change in northern Norway.
