Chapter 2: Rural Farming (Part 2)

Building Climate Resilience | Family Farming in Finland | RESIST

Marita Rasimus & Liisamari Rasimus work on a family farm in Southwest Finland, where they grow crops and tomatoes. Marita has noticed considerable climate differences since her father farmed the same land, and one of the biggest changes at the farm has been a shift to no-till practices. Liisa shares a positive message for the younger generations, encouraging them not to give up and to be hopeful of change.

In this second video from RESIST’s Building Climate Resilience series from Southwest Finland, we get more farming perspectives on the effects of climate change in an area vital to Finland’s food security.
